The average flaccid penis girth is 3.66 inches (9.31 cm) and 4.59 inches (11.66cm erect. This however varies between region (flaccid girths):

  • Asian Men: 4.2 inches
  • Australian Men: 4.25 inches
  • Middle eastern Men: 4.5 inches
  • African Men: 4.7 inches
  • American Men: 4.8 inches
  • Dutch Men: 4.92 inches

WHAT IS ARES-XL©?

ARES-XL© is a surgical technique, developed to allow for the erectile bodies to maximally expand with inflation of the inflatable penile implant. This is only for men with poor erectile function and is typically done at the same time as the (re)placement of the inflatable penile implant.

HOW DOES ARES-XL© DIFFER FROM Phallofill®?

*Both procedures may give about 1 to 2 inches in penile length and girth gain.
  • ARES-XL© increases erectile length while Phallofill® may increase flaccid length.
  • ARES-XL© is ONLY for men with erectile dysfunction who are candidates for penile implant surgery.
  • A patient with erectile dysfunction can opt to have a combination of an inflatable penile implant +/- ARES-XL© as well as Phallofill® as a separate procedures.
